πŸ’Œ 1.2.17 - Changelog - 24th of June, 2024
Hey! Today we’re releasing Lazy 1.2.17 which introduces some important UX improvements and bug fixes.
βœ… Improvements
Context capture support for Mimestream. This will allow you to take notes on top of Mimestream emails and capture the context of both links to the Mimestream app, and to Gmail (if it’s a Gmail email you’re looking at).
This doesn’t include functionality to support clipping emails from Mimestream, but it will allow you to take notes and copy content from Mimestream, while preserving the context information about which email you’re capturing from.

πŸ‘€ Improved backlinking display in People context.
Now, Lazy will display the entire block of text where you’ve backlinked someone, giving you more context as to why you backlinked someone and any notes you might’ve made in the moment.

We’ve improved Undo/Redo toaster, with support for stacking of actions.

Block embeds are now visible in the gallery mode in a list-view and in shared-cards.

We’ve added a ⌘+K command to add/manage the emoji icon of the card you’re looking at.

We’ve also improved the following:
We’ve improved the G then X commands so that it gives you more time to click the hotkeys to navigate.
We’ve made some improvements to the Slack context-capturing, which should make the context of which Workspace & Author you’re capturing from, more reliable.
in the web-app we’ve added a button to re-direct you to the Mac app to configure Kindle settings.
We’ve made it easier to re-name a view without first opening it.
Added a download link for the Mac app in the Web App settings.
When moving a card to the Journal, Lazy will no longer add the automatic spacing above it. This should make your Journal a little more tidy.
🐝 Bugs
Fixed a bug that made the β€˜Notes’ and β€˜Tasks’ splits display 3-dot menus when they shouldn’t.
Fixed a bug that was causing some users to crash when hovering over specific cards.
Fixed a bug that was preventing multiple highlights at once to be copy-pasted. You can now copy-paste as many highlights as you wish to another card.
Fixed a UI-bug that was showing β€˜Undefined’ when trying to add a new person as an author of a card.
When doing /PDF, Lazy will only show PDFs to import, instead of all of your files.
Fixed a bug that was preventing pinned cards with backlinks from correctly backlinking to Journal cards.
Fixed a bug that was preventing a banner on the web app from being dismissed.
Drag-dropping multiple files to the editor at once, will no longer duplicate the files.
Fixed a bug that would cause clips to render on top of itself, if you did ⌘+Z.
⌘+0 to reset launcher size. When we introduced zooming of the Lazy app, with ⌘+ and ⌘-, this also affected the launcher. We’re continuing to work on improving support for zooming the launcher, however you can now revert the launcher to it’s usual size by doing ⌘+0.
Fixed a bug that was causing Lazy to open the source of block embeded cards inadvertently.
