πŸ” Privacy & security
We’re still finalizing our privacy documentation, but will be sharing it soon.
In short, Lazy’s privacy and security information is as follows:

We store basic account information such as your name, email address and payment information for processing your payments and authenticate your logins.
Any content you capture using Lazy's services, whether through our desktop app, mobile app, or website, is collected and stored securely. This can include notes, to-dos, and other types of content you input. All captured content is visible in the app, and nothing is captured without you explicitly opening Lazy's launcher or using Lazy's app.
User data is hosted in Heroku and AWS servers in the US. Lazy also creates a local cache of your information on your device to support offline access to your notes. Lazy does not currently offer any encryption for the information you capture, as we plan to introduce collaborative editing features in the future. However, we're exploring options to allow users to secure or encrypt notes that are not intended for sharing.
Lazy will not share your notes, captures, or data with third parties unless legally required to do so. For AI features, text that you explicitly select is sent to OpenAI's API, but it is done in a way that does not train OpenAI's models.
